HEADSTONE
An upright stone with the name and other details of the deceased.

BERM
A base on which a headstone is mounted.

LEDGER
A solid piece of material placed on the grave.

CURBS
Demarkating the edges of the grave and support the ledger.

CHIPS
Pieces of crushed white marble put between curbs as an alternative for a ledger.

PART POLISH
Only one "face" of a component is polished. For curbs it is normally the top face and for a headstone the front.

ALL POLISH (FULL POLISH)
All parts of all components visible, are polished.
